Our Painted Lady Butterflies emerged from their cocoons on Thursday and Friday. It was so exciting.
The students were totally engrossed in the process and kept monitoring our butterfly tent.

Then, we released them onto the playground on Friday at recess. Here is a short video of one butterfly
landing on the lilac bush and drinking nectar from the flowers.
